Episode 31: The Totally Random Episode

As the episode title suggests this episode is extremely random. It begins with, of all things, some musical analysis from Bat Out of Hell III and things just go down hill from there. Topics discussed include why Batman shouldn't sing, why Superman can and has broken into song, how G.I. Joe broke new ground for comic books in the eighties and why, how Matt Tracker put civilians into extreme danger and what distraction caused the haphazard nature of this episode. I also introduced a new feature this week. It's called Ask Mike a Question About Comics. The name pretty much says it all. If you have some burning question regarding the world of comic books just e-mail me at viewsfromthelongbox@gmail.com and I will do my best to track down the answer and read it "on the air". It's fun, it's easy and it's free. I am not setting myself up as an expert but I do like comic trivia, so this seemed like it was worth a try.

Also, the JUSTICE LEAGUE: NEW FRONTIER giveaway contest is still going on and will continue to do so until March 8, 2008. All you have to do is listen to last week's episode, come back here and enter via viewsfromthelongbox@gmail.com. Go ahead, you know you want to.

Finally, I'd like to thank everyone who has given the show a try over the last two weeks. My numbers have been very good lately and it means a lot that people are checking the show out and giving it a chance. If you are a new listener drop me a quick e-mail and tell me what you like, don't like and all of that kind of stuff.
